What in the world is goin' on with the uprising of "Fnaf in DBD" posts?
So the minute that Silent Hill got released in DBD, I'm seeing the forums have spikes containing posts related to these 3 words exactly. "Fnaf in DBD".
Why exactly is that? We just see a single video-game licensed character and then I'm suddenly seeing posts left and right related to FnaF!

Idk lol it’s stupid tho

Someone's comment left it clear before:
"summer holidays, kids entering back into games"

The new legion skins, imo I think it would be a fine addition other than the fanbase coming into dbd

I think that's pretty much it, yeah.

I was about to make an extremely sarcastic remark related to the new legion skins.
But then I realized it was sarcasm.
Yeah, I'm still laughing hard as I typed this post out lmao

I dislike the new legion skins, they are so bad. They look like normal rabbits with a bit of blood on them, springtrap is different though. He much scarier looking and has a dead person inside with a beating heart.

i've said it in like the past 5 posts and i'll keep saying it... its a snowball effect. it started becoming a bit more popular with the release of the silent hill chapter because its also a video game, and since then every forum post every youtube video every tweet just snowballs the effect. the more people see it the more they feel the need to say whether its a good or bad idea so they make their own post them someone else new sees it and makes their own post...
sigh... it just keeps going, thanks for helping to keep it alive on the forums for yet another day

So a post asking 'why' so I can relieve my curiosity instead of searching through an OCEAN of Forums for only 5 posts explaining 'why' is worth blaming/accusing me of keeping it alive for another day?
... Quick to pull the trigger and miss, are you?

im explaining to you why its happening. thats what you're asking isnt it? why theres so many people talking about it? i'm sure i'll see another post asking why tomorrow and im going to give the same answer. because it just keeps happening. constantly. and forever.

I did make the post so I can have it answered.
I didn't make the post so someone could say 'thanks for helping to keep it alive on the forums for yet another day'.
When I haven't seen nobody post a discussion asking 'why' there is an uprising in FnaF.

literally from yesterday

My bad.
Also, that post wasn't from 'yesterday', it was 2 days ago.

I see more "whats with all of the FNaF posts" posts than actual FNaF posts, but I think Mookywolf described it the best.

I feel immense amounts of guilt after thinking Mooky was kinda that 'entitled survivor' or other toxic person that's currently sour.
.... Yeaaaaah I think I was the one who fired thrice and missed.
I'm getting myself a popsicle.

It does seem to be because of SH. Funnily enough I've seen almost as many posts complaining about FNAF posts as I have about FNAF. I just wish both sides would stop at this point.

its alright. sorry if i came across a bit harsh, i just wanted to make sure my explanation came across, and i was trying to be hyperbolic with the "constantly and forever" because i just find it funny. so if i came across that way thats my bad

I tend to misunderstand honestly.
I won't bother pulling the 'Because I have Aspergers' to explain the rudeness I had displayed in trying to do... Whatever, to be honest.
The bottom line is: There isn't one anymore because it's been smashed by yours truly.

3 words exactly. "Fnaf in DBD".
well... 8 words tecnically. Five nights at freddys in dead by daylight.
XD
I would answer the actual question of your post aswell... but it feels unnecessary

Fnaf would be good. People are hating the game because all they heard and saw about it were cringy kids, youtubers milking the game and some messed up artwork, as well as idiots spamming it everywhere, causing expected hatred.
The game itself isn't the greatest one, but it certainly is good, especially first 4, maybe even 5 parts. They weren't the highest quality, nor they had good gameplay (point&click), but they had really scary atmosphere and memorable characters as well as pretty sad backstory. I don't understand why people call FnaF characters goofy, though. Most of them are meant to be kids attraction and EVEN so their appearance is creepy and people aren't even wanting them, but something much more scary looking, which is the antagonist dying one of the worst deaths possible and becoming whatever abomination he is now, while constantly feeling mix of neverending pain from his innards being pierced by metal pieces and hatred towards everyone who he thinks are responsible for this.
As far as I know BHVR, what's they are really good is character design and visuals. If they were to make a FnaF chapter and Springtrap in particular, believe me you won`t find him "goofy" or "not scary". Just imaging this heavy thing sneaking or simply charging at you with heavy Oni/Demo-like steps.
Many people were asking what his ability could be, since he wasn't shown to be having any "supernatural" powers apart from being really hard to kill or, better say, to let go of his body and I can suggest him using hallucinations to scare survivors, perhaps using vent-like system (similar to the one in FnaF 3) which both him and survivors could use to quickly move around the map, but risk being caught by the killer or something more simple, like sneak attacks or brute force.
So, anyway I would welcome Springtrap in DbD. There are some better choices, but if he turns out to be one of them, I would be glad.

Because it's not a terrible idea. PH just made killers from other games seem more possible, the Animatronics are the right shape for a killer and it's part of a horror franchise.
Baffles me how many ignore the actual horror JUST because of a fanbase.

So, as I learned from watching Smash Bros. roster nonsense, people like to claim there are rules about the choices they make for DLC. The rules are never stated, they just what has currently been done to justify future choices. So, it started the rules were slasher movies, then horror movies( since Saw is dubiously a slasher, but solidly horror), then TV shows were okay, and now video games. FNaF is one of the most popular horror video games, even if the majority of the fan base is younger, thus all the questions. Personally I'd love to see a full Left4Dead chapter, putting in the Hunter and a map, or a Clock Tower chapter, but that's probably too obscure since there was a huge outcry about how Pyramid Head wasn't relevant, Scissor Man would make them scratch their heads.
