Trapper Power Rework Idea
Power:
Instead of picking up his bear traps he would now start with 2 (with add-ons increasing this amount). When a bear trap is shut from a survivor being caught in or disarming it, it would then disappear (or disappear after the survivor is freed). Then a timer would start for the trap to return to the trapper (addons decrease time it takes to regain traps).
For the survivor a single heartbeat sound plays when within a meter of a bear trap (additionally the controller will vibrate for console). When disarming the bear trap you are given a difficult skill check (difficulty increases with addons). If you fail this skill check you become injured (like bloody coils) and a loud noise notification is triggered. When succeeding this skill check the trap is instantly disabled with no loud noise notification or damage.
Perk change: Unnerving Presence
Now in addition to its normal effects, there is a 50% chance of a smaller skill check window for difficult skill checks such as decisive, overcharge, brand new part,l and bear traps. Success zones can be reduced by 20%|25%|30%.

This would probably still leave him relying on addons, but it seems better than what we have now. I feel like the Unnerving presence change should be 100% of the time, just so chance isn't as big a factor for its usefulness. Other than that I feel like this could be a good change.

Thanks! Though you don’t think it would be too OP if the already guaranteed gen and heal skill checks are present with a guaranteed already small skill check being smaller?
