What Do You Guys Think Of Unbreakable Outfits?

I personally don't like them since I can't mix and match with them to other outfits and that's my #1 reason of buying cosmetics. It's obvious they can make unbreakable outfits be equipped in seperate pieces as we have the exact legion bunny outfit in 4 colors and Pyramid Head's head/weapon are just alternate versions of the default outfit. My only reason they did this was Konami didn't like cosmetics being mixed although the devs did it too with Nea on her newest outfit. i always thought the mix and match part of cosmetics gave it an edge over other games providing cosmetics.

I would also prefer the normal mix-and-match type to remain the standard but there are concepts (like hooded survivors) that only really work if forced as an entire outfit and I don't mind seeing these from time to time since the restricted freedom usually comes with greater quality.

100%, I'd prefer things that look bad mixed and matched but are ALLOWED to be mixed and matched, over a set where I can't have any choice at all. Will not be spending money on ANY of these locked sets. Especially since those so far haven't been anything WORTH being locked as of yet, they were just too lazy to do a shaved texture on the back of Nea's head.

The quality will be there when you wear the full set, but being able to make your character choose from a variety of cosmetics together does so as well. You ever seen Ace with a pineapple shirt and a trilby hat with shades? Basically you get a Hawaiian Ace or how about a Jake's Ski head with a Jacket? Diversity in one's look is the entire purpose of cosmetics and mix and matching extends to that even further.

I think it is incredibly greedy on BHVRs part. It has been shown to be ok for them (not so much pressured by Kojima, or the owners of Silent Hill, ever since the Nea set). They already have a battle pass, as well as a massively overpriced store, why make it even more money hungry?

That is literally the reason. A friend of mind knows of the glitch to mix and match with that nea set, and there is just a random skin texture back there. It is like they didn't try.

    Not good.

I only think it's acceptable when the legendary skins is a whole new character.

For legendary outfits its fine BUT for the very rare outfit on nea its dumb.

as long it doenst change the character like for cherly it should be possible to mix it with other outfit pieces

I'm fine with linked outfits as long as they don't become overwhelming. Whether it be because of clipping issues or cosmetics that cannot fit with others due to one reason or another, it makes sense to me. Although the Nea one isn't the best fit for a linked outfit, the only sets that I don't think work as sets are the Pyramid and (non Alyssa) Cheryl ones.

I prefer to mix and match, tho I did purchase the Nea skin anyways since it looks badass.

Linked outfits like legendaries and the Robbie Rabbit skins for legion I can understand. Cheryl's linked outfits on the other hand are just dumb as they could mix and match fine.
