The biggest problem with this game (for me)
I have played this game for 2 years now and I bought it 3 times(2 times in ps4 and one time on pc) the 2 times I bought it on ps4 I bought the dlcs, even though I don't use the killers as I am a huntress, nurse main.
On pc I didn't buy any dlc. Here is my problem. I have had the game on pc for 6 months now and I didn't get a single good perk in the shrine. I bought discordance, iron maiden(because huntress) and now thrilling tremors.
What I'm trying to say is that the perks in the shrine are often garbage and useless, so if you want good perks, too bad! As they are locked behind a pay wall.
I think the shrine should refresh much more often so that we can get more perks that are actually good.

Nurses calling came up couple weeks ago, that's a pretty good one if you don't want to go through levelling up nurse (I didn't, I can't use nurse to do anything)

As I said I main nurse so I already have that. What I was trying to say is that I'm bored of the good perks that I have and I would really like to have an alternative. Unfortunately most of the free perks are bad(except for whispers and NOED), so I have to run the same build to be able to resist the survivor meta.

Shrine of secrets is completely random. So it kinda makes sense.

Never understood the reason to buy stuff fromthe shrine, it was ALWAYS useless for me and only used it for extra bp when shards had no other use yet.
On your place, if you dont want to buy any DLC, just unlock non licensed character instead, as it comes with 3 perks and an actual playable thing that may actually be useful/wanted by you later down the line.
Thr issue comes to licensed dlcs now, but honestly, just grab LF for dosh, as it is worth it for just the bonus bp from bbq, rest... Pray to your loot box God for better, useless shrine roll.
