A few question for the Devs regarding perk changes
(This post is primarily made to be answered by the Devs, but if any of you has a response to any of these questions feel free to comment below)
Alright, so I thought a lot these days about Perk changes in DBD and I came to a point where many questions were unanswered and I really wanted to know how the things really work behind the scenes. So, here's the list:
1. How much time passes between you approving a perk change and it finally being released on the live servers? Does it need several patches to go live or you can just implement a perk change within a few weeks?
2. How do you come up with ideas for perk changes? Do you sit together at a tabble and talk and just say your ideas, and everybody can add small changes to a perk concept? Or does someone just come at work one day and says "oh,last night I had an awesome idea for a perk in my mind...." and everyone just approves the idea (if it's a good idea ofc) and the perk is ready to go?
3. I heard the Devs saying that they look at Perk rework ideas on Forums, but how often do they implement a change they see on the Forums? And if they use the idea of a player, does that player get notified by the devs that his idea is going to be implemented, or not?
4. Does the rarity of a perk at tier 3 matter when you rework perks? If you rework 2 perks and one is just rare at tier 3 and the other one is very rare at tier 3, do you guys just say "Oh, let's keep the very rare perk better than the rare one" or you just dont really care about that kind of stuff?
5. Tweaking some numbers could make many perks a little more appealing. Why don't you do it more often, or isn't it as simple as it sounds?
6. I heard in one of your QnA's that you have a not-so-small list of perks that you would like to look into. What's the order when changing/reworking perks? Do you start with the one used the least, and try finding a better version of it, or do you just pick a random perk?
7. Can we expect more perk changes for survivors soon? Like buffing Buckle up or Breakdown, 2 perks that are not used so much.
These are, generally speaking, the things I want to have an answer to, and I hope that the devs could answer at least a few of them. Thx for reading and have a good day, everyone!
