So... firstly... no. That is a very integral part of the game. Also fun fact... killers can use that light to fake that they're going around a wall one way when they're going the other and get easy hits.
Secondly, most killers that are supposed to be stealthy have mechanics that turn off their red light. Myers in Tier 1 doesn't have one. Crouching Pig doesn't have one. Ghost Face in shroud doesn't have one. Cloaked Wraith doesn't have one. Also, any perk that gives the killer the Undetectable status effect also hides it, so if you really want it gone on a non stealth killer, you can do that too.

Can't tell if this is low quality bait or just someone being uneducated. When ghostface activates his stealth the red light goes away... so...
Gonna take a bet on low quality bait.

Just run the perk Beast of Prey. It will disable your Red Stain (the red light) once you build up bloodlust in chase.
Or alternatively: use any add-ons, perks, or killer powers that applies the Undetectable status. Being Undetectable removes your terror radius and your red stain.

I need my red stain. :(

I’ve seen several videos where the red stain is visible underneath walls—brick walls! The stain is important, but issues like this should be corrected.

There are perks, addons, and powers that remove red stain but it is both an integral part on the survivor side for information and on the killer side to use for mindgames
Undetectable removes red stain perks like beast of prey, tinkerer, dark devotion, insidious, and trial of torment
Killers with powers that remove red stain, Wraith, Pig, ghost face, Tier 1 Myers, Demogorgon travel (can be modified to be longer with addons)
Killers with addons that remove red stain Wraith the ghost, Doctor discipline, Nurse bad mans last breath, Pyramid head obsidian goblet
If you dislike your red stain enough any combination of any of these can provide game-play without red stain for consistency I would recommend Doctor with 2 discipline or iridescent king with bbq, dark devotion, Save the best for last, and PGTW

Short answer: No
Long Answer: Theres no reason to, it's also a core mechanic so removing it would cause tons of other problems.

no. Just moonwalk and hide it whenever you are behind a long wall

while i do find the red light annoying concept considering how survivors got better vision ie 3rd person view. I would not remove it as people say it one of the main aspect of the game, HOWEVER i would like the idea that the status effect blindness to be able to affect the red stain which would make games more intresting if the killer is running blindness add ons or the third seal be a nice little buff for the blindness status
