Xenomorph Killer Idea

Xenomorph (The Alien)

Weapon: Bladed Tail

Perfect Hunter (Power)

By pressing and holding the power button, The Alien can become nearly invisible (similar to The Wraith), have no terror radius, but moves at a highly decreased movement speed. The Alien takes 2 seconds to enter and exit the mode, and cannot interact with survivors while in it. Perfect Hunter also allows The Alien to climb on any surface

Hex: Nesting Grounds (Hex Perk)

Cleansing a full totem causes a facehugger to attach to the survivor that cleansed it. When activated, that survivor's aura becomes revealed to the other survivors. After 60/50/40 seconds, the facehugger will automatically kill the survivor. This survivor cannot move while the facehugger is attached to them.

Sense (Perk)

The Alien can see the auras of all survivors in it's terror radius for 5 seconds. Sense will only activate every 60/50/40 seconds.

Obey the Queen (Perk)

The Alien hears the call of it's queen. Whenever The Alien is stunned or blinded, Obey the Queen activates. The survivor who blinded or stunned it becomes the Obsession. Whenever The Alien hits the Obsession, it gains a token, up to a maximum of 3/4/5 tokens. The Alien gains a 5% movement speed bonus whenever the exit gate is activated.

Just kinda three this together. Don't know if it's any good, but I'm open to feedback. This is the first killer I've created, so I hope you all enjoy it

Personally I think the power is too clunky. Wraith already feels bad to play because uncloaking (and to a lesser extent, cloaking) feel so cumbersome. Also, climbing on any surface would require a total overhaul of every map to allow that to function. It would be cool for sure. But I don't really know how useful it would be. Just sounds like it would be incredible buggy.

My opinion on Nesting Grounds, a perk that passively stuns a survivor for 40 seconds then mori's them, that's insaaaanely overpowered. All a killer would have to do is zone the other survivors for 40 seconds, which isn't even 1 gen. This is basically pig's reverse bear trap on steroids.

Regarding Sense, is this activatable? The way it's worded it sounds passive. Again this perk is very overpowered. Giving the killer the location of all nearby survivors on demand kills a huge part of the game, which is finding survivors/hiding from the killer. It also doesn't really fit the narrative of the Xenomorph reducing his terror radius to 0, meaning this perk does nothing while a killer is stealthed.

The first part of Obey the Queen is just Nemesis... the second part isn't clear, are you saying the killer gains 5% movement speed PER TOKEN? Just so you're aware that's higher than a 4.6 m/s killer with 3 stacks of bloodlust.

Not trying to be a dick, Xenomorph as a killer would be hella cool but the power is kinda already done, and the perks are way overtuned.

It's just an idea. The whole reason I posted this on here is to get advice from other people who play the game and understand the needs of a killer. As for the power, I agree the Wraith is stupid annoying to cloak, but I just figured since the Xenomorph is a stealth killer that it might work. And there was code in the game previously that they scrapped before release for climbing for survivors and killers.

For Nesting Grounds, I mad it so it instantly kills to force survivors to work with each other if they try to cleanse the totem and fail. Overpowered, yes, very now that you mention it. I'll try to come up with something less...annoying.

Sense is a passive ability. It activates every 60/50/40 seconds. I made it so it activates on it's own to try to balance out Sense and Perfect Hunter.

That's just bad wording. It's per token, yeah.

I completely understand. I don't think your a dick, I think your a player who found an idea and wants to help fine-tune it. I appreciate your input and will try to work around these flaws.

The power is too similar to Wraith and I don't think the ability to climb any surface would make up for the reduced movement speed and would be hard to implement. I would go back to the drawing board on that.

Hex: Nesting Grounds is way too big of a punishment for a survivor making the mistake of cleansing a totem. Haunted Grounds exposes survivors, sure, but you still have to catch up to them and hit them. If it showed the aura and hindered the survivor that cleansed it for a limited time, then that would be an awesome trap totem.

Sense seems a bit too powerful. Give it a longer cooldown or change it the conditions in which it activates.

Obey the Queen is just Nemisis with a bit more stuff that breaks it. Go back to the drawing board for that one.

Overall, I have seen much worse ideas and you did well for your first time all things considered. Keep at it and have fun.

With the power I was just thinking along the "stealthy Hunter" thing the Xenomorph has along with it's ability to climb on any surface.

For Hex: Nesting Grounds I could do something along the lines of it tries to attach a facehugger to a survivor, but they have to do skill checks to escape.

For Sense, it kinda auto activates. It was supposed to counteract the no terror radius in the Perfect Hunter power.

For Obey the Queen, I was running out of ideas and it was the best thing I had. Any suggestions?

    Thanks again for the input.

If you wanted Obey the Queen to be an obsession switching perk, I'd go for something like this.

Obey the Queen: You hear the call of your queen to feed the hive. You become obsessed with a survivor. When the obsession is healing another survivor, they become oblivious. After the injured survivor is healed, they become the obsession. You can only be obsessed with one survivor at a time.

That's just an idea off the top of my head. It can be whatever really as long as you think of something balanced and possible counter play.

When you hit the obsession, you gain a token, up to a total of 3/4/5 tokens. For each token, it takes an extra two seconds to open the exit gate.

    Sound good?

I feel like the power is too simple, they could do tons with a xeno and its one ability is just basically a retooled wraith? Not to mention nesting grounds is basically just a free kill if the killer camps.
