Is anyone else getting a freeze when using dead hard?

Ever since the latest update, my dead hards are frequently freezing my game for a few seconds. I have not found any possible reasons as to why it happens. It also seems to not give me distance like it’s as if I just stood there. I have encountered this on PS4.
