Oni's power not working PS4

in Bug Reporting

I was playing Oni earlier and after his bar filled up, I pressed the activate power button and it would just flicker and wouldn't do anything else. I held down the button and nothing happened. Even when standing completely still, I could not use my power. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I'm trying to learn how to play Oni and this certainly isn't helping lol.

The map we were playing on was the Pale Rose.

    The killer have been broken for more than a month. You are supposed to be able to activate the power either by blood orbs, first hit or passive recharge, but the passive recharge is bugged and forbids you the activation of your power until you hit a survivor again. Very annoying..

    It happens on pc too, the only advise i can give you, until the devs stop ignoring killer bugs.. is try to not fill the power passively, its tricky and very annoying but is either that or not playing the killer at all.
