New omega blink goes even farther than old omega*

So let's make this quick. (Data gathered from the official dbd wiki)

Old omega blink consisted of

  • Ataxic Respiration
  • Catatonic Boy's Treasure

The wiki specifies the hard numbers. Here's some images with link.

Ataxic Respiration:

Catatonic Boy's Treasure:

As you can see, stacked would lead to a first blink range of 27m. A fairly long range.

Now let's take a look at new omega consisting of

  • Heavy Panting
  • Kavanaugh's Last Breath

Heavy Panting:

(Hover over "Considerably" to get true value)

Kavanaugh's Last Breath:

This means new omega blink has a range of 30m, that's a 3 meter difference between new and old

It should be brought up that old omega blink may have affected chain blinks (I don't remember for sure, was an addonless Nurse main since she released) As well as the recharge mechanic has been introduced. Don't forget that it takes longer to charge up, but this may be seen as a good thing because it doesn't affect muscle memory on blink distances. Though this factors in, a 30m blink paired with monitor can act as a weaker form of old prayer beads, giving a pretty much free hit on survivors on generators.

TLDR

New Omega blink is 3 meters longer on the first blink than old omega (30m and 27m respectively) It didn't really get directly nerfed (read "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING OR YOU'RE STOOPID") rather the main drawback being an indirect nerf to basekit (recharge)

So, use this info as you please. C:

Uhh, the old omegablink charged how far you went like twice as fast; giving you significantly more map mobility and ability to quickly blink onto survivors who were far away. Considering the main counterplay to nurse is to change which direction you are running after she has charged her blink, having almost twice the time to react is massive. Even if the base kit changes didn't happen it was still a big nerf.

I don't see a reason to play nurse these days, except to flex. And I used to main her 3~ years ago when she was really OP.

Spirit is a third of the effort and 95% of the power of old nurse. No super lousy maps like Lery's to deal with, no getting cucked by strong buildings, you actually get a huge lunge, and you are 110% so you have a plan B if you mess up a prediction.
