Did they remove the DC penalty?

As killer, I've been seeing a lot of people DC.

Either they don't like the killer or the map (I'm guessing, since they DC very early on), or they DC mid-game -- people DC when downed early in the match, and I just faced a SWF squad (you know, the ones that are sO rArE) where one guy DCed so that their friend could get hatch. (Then in post-game chat they hit me with the "gg ez", which surprised me, because this is the first time I've ever even heard of a SWF team trying to be toxic.)

Did they get rid of the DC penalty already? And if not, why are we still seeing so many people DC?

    Yep removed dc penalties.

they were flagging false bans, not dcing people. You could finish the game, and then end up with a multiple day ban.

Another failed system implimented horribly making the problem worse.

They don't seem to know how to fix it. Which is making DC'ing more common and still hurting the game.

    It's not removed, it's disabled.

Some hack-happy peeps used it against innocent peeps, so they turned it off for now.

Turning it off kinda just happened, turning it back on will probably just happen as well.
