Breaking Spirit

About 50% of my red rank games are against spirit (wake up devs). The premium currency in this game for killers is mobility and insta down potential (again devs wake up, how could you give both to a single killer like billy and oni when killers like plague and clown and trapper exist).

Anyways, I would love to hear what can be done against this killer (i'm rank 1 surv and rank 1 killer, 1,200 hours). It's just a lot of tunneling and swooshing back to the hook for this killer. Seems ridiculous that being super immersed and preloading perks just in case its spirit is the answer.

Looking for advice here ... not sure there really is anything relevant .... git gud maybe?

Spirit seems the most brain dead of the red rank killers. I get it, whatever gives you the best chance of winning but DANG.....

Iron Will and Spine Chill can destroy her.

you have 1200 hours and haven't come up with either the facts

    1 use survive with friends

2 if you don't have friends just use object of obsession, off the record, decisive strike, and iron will

3 if you do have friends use both and win more

Iron will. If the Spirit has stridor don't get injured because your iron will is useless. Or just pray that the sounds are broken and the spirit literally can't hear you produce a single sound. Those are the only reliable ways to help you against her. The rest is guessing. It's like Nurse in a way. Against a bad Nurse or spirit they're extremely predictable and easy to bully, because playing them for the first time is kind of like being thrown into the deep end of a pool with no kind of swimming floats and everyone's taunting you about it. But against a good spirit there's nothing you can really do against it except make a wild guess and it might work for 5 seconds before you have to do it again.

Run tiles. If you try to loop or mind game her you are just giving her a hit. When she stops moving or after breaking LOS just bolt for a new tile. Aim for windows especially because they work best against her. Do it right and you can run a Spirit for a long time.

the sound are broken actually and she is not AS braindead since her nerf , but yeah iron will and not running in a straight line is a good start

She can only track reliably through sound and notifiers..abuse those heavily to confuse her, dont use pallets predictably, throw them from a side depending on whether she normally goes around or not , mix up fast and slow vaults, avoid injured as long as possible etc..that's how she rolls

Wait for her nerf?, It is almost certain that they will touch her again.

or become a main killer 🤷‍♀️
