Decisive is incredibly and disgustingly broken if you know how to abuse it correctly.

Dead Hard takes much more skill to use and even then a good killer has plenty of counterplay once they know you have it, by just waiting for you to use it, baiting it out, or even just lunging after the Dead Hard animation has started so you can still catch them at the very end of the lunge once the frames of the animation are over. So it's fairly balanced in that there are opportunities for both sides to do something about it.

If you can use it correctly it's good, if the Killer is aware and knowledgeable about the counterplay he could basically ignore it. The safe play for a survivor is just to use it to cross the small distance needed to get to a pallet and finish another revolution of a loop that you wouldn't have been able to complete without the perk at all. Or to reach a window (but you have to Dead Hard early enough that you don't run into the window vault or else you'll lose momentum and be forced to medium vault, so early enough to reach the window but still be far enough way to maintain momentum and fast vault).

So if you have no moral compass I suggest using Decisive. Though I never use it personally (being a solo player myself), although to be fair I don't use either.

Using both is great, but if I had to pick one it would always be DS, that perk is too broken to turn down and it's probably the best survivor perk currently.

Decisive. I see so many killers trying to tunnel out the first survivor they find as fast as possible. You’ve no idea how valuable it is to the team if you can delay your sacrifice a little bit longer.

You can really feel how bad it hurts the team when a survivor is tunneled to death and doesn’t have Decisive

I used them both one time, but i just got bored and needed a change in my build.

I know both perks are so strong and i want to choose one so i dont use two slots just for meta perks. There is plenty of other perks you can play and i know meta perks raise your chances of escaping but i guess you need a change sometimes.

then use decisive if you dont want to be gone in less than 5 minutes and wanna enjoy the game

Dead hard's a lot of fun, DS is boring for me.

Dead hard. You're highly likely to use it than DS in a game.

I think dead hard is. If there's an obsession the killer is going to assume you have DS anyways 80% of the time so often enough you get DS's effect for free. Dead Hard can be used to its maximum potential without any comm usage while DS gets better the more you're able to communicate with your team.

Personally I run neither because I'm a cool dude B)

I don't use either, but there are so many matches where I was like "damn, I wish I had decisive because I'm getting hard tunneled"

I laugh when my teammates complain about dead hard not working or being exhausted from using dead hard but still ending up on the ground because the perk has been unreliable for a long time now. I won't ever use it unless I have to for a challenge
