No. LOL. Scratch marks only last 10 seconds dude and it takes way longer than that to get a gen done.

Again, if the killer is nearby, you may need to evade or use stealth. But, unless it's a stealth killer with no terror radius, there's no reason not to run. By the time you hear the terror radius, you will have been on the gen for a bit and the marks will have dissipated.

In order to use stealth, it is not advisable to run. Without planning for the gen rush before the trial, It is always far safer to walk to a generator, at any point in the game.

Additionally, the killer can see scratch marks 32m away. Although the scratch marks may last ten seconds, the killer can still be up to 16 seconds behind you, which is not a substantial amount of time to do complete a gen, nor is it enough time to heal on your own.

Therefore, it is always safer to walk to your generator and wait for the first patrol pass before touching it. This assures early avoidance, preserving your state of health, and not revealing your location to the killer.

The issue here is not contextual, because stealth movement is always superior to running, at any point in the trial including the chase. Running makes chases happen faster, but not generator progress. This issue is your emotional investment against Sprint Burst.

You believe the game is ######### if survivors are not immediately running to their objectives. Surprisingly, a survivor with Sprint Burst is guaranteed to get their objective before the killer and other survivors, but they choose not to. @SloppyKnockout made a much better point in one post than you did with all these posts @Splinterverse .

It is silly to see a walking survivor who does not know when to use Sprint Burst. There's literally a time and place for it, and there's a small minority of neophyte sprinters that are still learning.

But that's the minority, and that's the hyper focus of your posts; it's when they don't use Sprint Burst when you feel like they should. Every runner knows they're gonna get to the objective first, and every smart runner knows there is literally no reason to be there so quickly. The killer is always on his way over, so why would anyone run around and leave scratch marks all over the place?

It is foolish to run for the sake of convenience, so you can "get there faster". Running is a defense mechanism, and not ideal means of transportation.

Ok. Continue losing the game for your team as you crawl, walk, etc. everywhere. I don't care.

There are a LOT of SB users that don't run when they should. That's the main point. Go ahead and suffer from it. Again, I don't care.

I usually walk to the first gen when the game starts otherwise its good to use whenever. There is literally no point in wasting in when the game starts, It could literally save you from being hit when the killer comes for the gen your on.
