Deliverance Should Notify Team
If I'm on my first hook and have deliverance primed and ready to go it should somehow notify my team that I'm able to save myself. Maybe with an icon on the bottom right of my team's screen akin to WMI except global while I'm hooked in phase 1.
This buffs a middle of the road perk for solo players without making it stronger for groups.
Edit: A commenter mentioned console being unable to speak in the lobby, making this a gentle buff to deliverance on console as well.

That would be nice. I keep trying to make that perk work but either I go down before I get a save, or when I DO have it ready, as soon as I'm hooked I see 3 people rushing towards me to get bloodpoints..
I think it's only usable in a SWF

Every time I manage to get this perk primed my team decides THAT'S the time they're going to all make it their life's goal to save me. Which results in the killer camping me because there are 2 other people swarming the hook.

It should, it would be a nice QoL change, you can still tell them in the pregame chat but a lot of people, myself included, dont read it always.

THis shows one of my main problems as survivor, people dont chat before the game.
Most I see is "nice outfit Feng"
But if you want to notify your team you running Deliverance, do it in pre-game chat? Thats what it is there for, most simply dont use it.
I tell them, running BT etc,... it can help.

I think any chance to close the gap between solo players and SWF should be taken. Even if every game people explained their build in the lobby, groups would be at an advantage since they have 0 chances to forget. They gave WMI an icon, why not do it for more perks like Solidarity and Deliverance?

I am not a dev and do not have an answer there, but you can easily tell your team before the game if you running perks, I do it all the time, and I have never seen another survivor do it aside from me.
Threads like this make it obvious, hardly anyone ever talks before a match. At most you get a "glhf" or "I need exit gate for daily" but RARELY ever see "k guys Im running deliverance"
in fact, I have NEVER seen it.

My opinion on such things does not matter tbh.
I am a bit overwhelemed with notifications personally though, half the time i dont even know what they mean anymore. nI play surv and Im like, ######### are all these icons? All I know is the skull = exposed hahah

Just make a little icon for everyone when deliverance is useable just like leader or prove thyself

I don't want to come off like a jerk, but if you think your opinion doesn't matter why come into a thread, tell me your opinion on talking in a lobby, then dodge the actual topic at hand and refuse to give your opinion on what I'm asking about? Just seems weird. Saying you're overwhelmed by icons is a decent argument against it, but I don't think there are too many things clogging up the screen as of right now.
That doesn't fix the problem. My team is now required to know when I've safely unhooked someone, something only one person will definitely know, and requires them to remember who I was and when I've ticked all the boxes. This is something SWF automatically get just by loading discord up. Why not buff solo survivors this tiny bit?

I do not play on console, I do not know what consoles have specifically. How am I supposed to know this person is talking about consoles. oh yea the edit to the post.... doesn't even SAY it's talking about console it's talking in general.... hmmm I guess we are supposed to assume this is for console quality of life, but why is it that that should change how pc games work?

I have successfully communicated this self same sentiment when I am solo in the pre game lobby. "hey everyone I have to unhook 3 people safely, have BT." and they let me be mr./mrs. (depending on the survivor I'm running) unhooker. IT is up to ME to make sure that I unhook people safely, not the rest of the team in this.

This isn't a discussion about consoles only. Someone reminded me that "Hey, consoles exists and this is a small bonus for them as well!" Originally this was a basic point about the perk being lackluster and there being a very easy way to boost its usage for solo players. That's it.

Consoles do not have a beginning game chat and subsquently I brought them into this. OP wants a deliverance QOL change to ensure his team knows about the perk. Your solution is to tell them before the game. Consoles exist.

lol. so if you have 11 houses and the middle one is on fire and you have 5 fire hose teams, you have to prioritize which houses get the water to keep them from catching fire and those are usually the ones much more danger than the other ones. so if you have 50 tasks to complete but only a few people to complete these tasks you have to prioritize what tasks to do.
so in this case you want a small change to a perk that isn't broken or not working. do you know the full extent on what you want to do in the programming? do you know how to make sure that change doesn't affect how the rest of the game works? there is more to it than just changing the description because that doesn't change how it actually works. I am not saying it's not a good idea or that it is a bad change. I'm saying that it isn't necessarially the best thing to devote efforts to when there are very important things to work on.

Making sure the other houses don't also catch on fire is a priority too. You don't assign an entire hose or team to the houses not on fire, but you sure as hell keep an eye on the houses near the fire and jump to action if you notice an ember catching a curtain on fire.
My point is that just because something big and flashy is a problem that doesn't mean you shouldn't also care about the smaller problems. This isn't an entire perk rework or balance. It's a tiny QoL that improves the game.
And when I see bhvr spending all this time nerfing Billy it tells me they have a lot of extra time laying around. Why not spend it on something people won't hate?

wow you love the sound of your own typing there. I never said it shouldn't be looked at or anything but there are priorities they you don't know. and not everyone hates the changes, and many are needed, just because a small number of people don't like something doesn't mean everyone doesn't like it. I can see you want only what you want and don't care if anyone else has an opinion. WHY POST it here? go directly to the source, ask to help them do what you want and see how fast it happens. You don't want to talk to me? fine that's your choice but realize that your arguments are not compelling at all.
