Is it just me or does anyone else love the window hit boxes?
Anyone else?

Only when I'm playing killer, but that's the way it is and probably should be

No, like I fast vault a window, my feet touch the ground and my Quentin just dies, kills himself on the floor.

The thing is, the walls of a window can just be so thick. When you lunge out it's a reach and in reality you who vaulted through, can still be lunged at through a window.

I don't understand how they hit even when I get the fast vault tho.

Window hit boxes have been greatly buffed in the survivors favour. Window vaults you wouldn't have gotten away with... you can now get away with.
As killer, it can be very frustrating trying to hit survivors, especially at common and strong windows such as the one in the shack. It is much, much harder to mind game the shack window if a survivor plays the shack well.
So I love the window hit boxes as survivor (most of the time!), but really dislike playing around windows as killer. It's just another thing that's put me off playing killer tbh.

The issue isn't hit boxes. The issue is ping related to dedicated servers.

Resident Doctor Main here,
They're broken af. Love 'em for it though. Sincerely,
Resident Doctor Main
In all honesty though they should really fix them

It's not even ping related to dedicated servers. It's just ping. My ping's been a lot better on dedicated servers.

@ResidentDoctorMain I just have to say this. Your comments make me laugh so much lol. It's just the way you reply lol. Never change lol.

You are joking right hits are in the killers favor verse a high ping killer or vpn and enjoy hits through every window and pallet.

I had no issue until dedicated servers gave me worse ping.

I'm not talking about cases where the killer has a ridiculously high ping or when the killer is using a VPN. Window vaults in general have been massively buffed in the survivors favour. You don't get hits you WOULD have gotten before the buff (when both the survivor and killer have good ping).

Dang, well that's a shame. I'm assuming you just have bad luck and aren't close to a server.

Windoes aren’t in the survivors favour most of the time they’re in the killers favour.
For example, the other day I was running from the killer and jumped through a window was all the way through and the grabbed me, or hit me when they really shouldn’t have

You mean you wont get hit where you shouldn't have gotten hit after the fix. It was never a buff and the hits u were getting were never supposed to hit in the first place.

You can tell yourself windows never got buffed in favour of survivors, but they clearly have been buffed... In favour of survivors.
Not to say I hate the buff because I too disliked getting hit 2 meters from Windows. But, there are undoubtly times where I feel I'm cheated out of a hit that I should've gotten as killer. Let's just say the windows are very generous towards survivor if both the killer and survivor have a good connection.
I never go for hits at windows now unless I am absolutely sure I'll hit them. Before the change, I was able to go for 'close call' hits, that might or might not have hit em. There was a chance I could hit them. Now.. there's no point.
But just to clarify: I hardly care to further elaborate on this weird argument. I'll just finish my comment by saying that I actually agree with your points somewhat, but I do feel killers are occasionally cheated out of hits they should be able to get at windows. So as I said in my first comment, I love window hit boxes as survivor, but dislike them when I play as killer.

there is no problem with the window hitboxes at all, so i dont see why anything should be wrong with these.
though i am glad they are working on latency fixes in form of serversided hitdetection, cause latency issues are quite bad sometimes (especially around windows)

Jumped through a window today, Yui's feet touched the ground, even made a step further, and Leatherface's chainsaw on the other side of the window still downed me :) Recorded the scene and watched it in slow motion, and yep no way that this was a hit. My ping was totally fine. I cannot count how many times Lithe and Window Hitboxes have caused me random hits.

Window hits before the window changes were cause because the survivors lagged back to the window which SHOULDN'T be happening in the first place.
