you know I really want to enjoy this game and for the most part I do, but the constant unfair match up really ruin it for me. This is the second match in a row where i solo queued and got paired up against a red rank at lower ranks. Like I can understand if its because theres a purple rank but at the same time having ONE semi high ranked survivor on our team against a red rank killer doesn't seem a fair trade to me. Blame it on my perks if you really want but I shouldnt have to use meta perks to enjoy the game and get even an ounce of playability. I should be able to use what I want and have atleast a fighting chance. I wouldn't count this as a rant at this point im not even mad just disappointed. Guessing my opinion is going to immediately be thrown out just because I disconnected but whatever.

    The matchmaking is currently a mess.

    Am I right that you are on xbox? If yes, you lately got the new matchmaking system, which means it needs to gather some data first on how well you are playing on average with a surv or killer (yeah, I know it's bound to be a pain in the behind like this) before the better matchmaking can kick in.

    IIRC ranks as such will be removed as a whole sooner or later, once the new system has been smoothed out. but for that to happen people ought to keep playing.

    I hope you'll get more enjoyable matches in the future. (I'm on pc, and as of now it's a bit of a 3:2 ratio of frustration vs delight, so not that bad. I played other games where that ratio was at 7:2)

    I guess they figure that longer q times are worse than an unbalanced match

    The highest ive ever ranked for survivor is 11 and that was almost 6 months ago but yeah I guess its smurfing🤡

    Head On has been in the Shrine a couple of times.

    You don't need to be Red Rank or Purple rank to farm for Nancy's perk.

    The other 2 aren't DLC perks.

    It's honestly better to play high rank killers to learn, I've been playing red rank killers almost since I've started playing cause my friends are all high rank, I def learned faster through that, just gotta learn loops and different killers, watch some videos and don't dc you literally don't learn.
