Bug with oni. Anyone else having this problem?

So in game while playing as oni i encountered a weird bug that would make the oni unable to go into fury mode. So while attacking a survivor or absorbing when the passive recharge is almost done the bar would just stop and you wouldn't be able to well reach blood fury. It would stay at a constant 99.9 percent full while also disabling your absorb. Does anyone else get this issue? Also tbc im playing on xbox one so it may be different for those on pc or ps4.

Yeah, it's a known bug unfortunately

Rumor has it that it is something that will be fixed next patch. For now, hitting a survivor will unbug it and let you use your powers again. Not a great fix (especially in EGC) but that will at least get the bugs shaken out of his skull and let you use your powers.

Known bug, I've suffered from it once or twice myself and it's an incredibly frustrating and game breaking bug if you play that killer which forces you to act as a pure M1 killer which is absolutely debilitating for a killer like him that relies on the momentum his power brings.

As far as I'm aware there is no way to "unbug it" it lasts for about 2 minutes or longer from my experience and there's nothing you can do about it except wait out the "timer". So if you can try to keep up the pressure as much as possible during that time hopefully you'll outlast the negative effect and still be able to perform in your match.

In the meantime the real strategy is to monitor how quickly you're passively regaining your power and keep tabs on every little bit of blood that exists on the map in case you need it. When it starts getting to that threshold quickly find two blood orbs to push you over the edge so that way you can actually use your power, and if there's plenty of blood all over the map might as well just suck it up right away and get your power rather than risking it regaining passively. Also never run the "increase passive recharge speed" add-ons until it gets fixed and patched out.

I've heard that it was fixed in the most recent PTB and it should be shipping out into live whenever the Mid-chapter patch releases but I'll be honest I never participated in the mid-chapter patch so I have absolutely no clue if it's true or not.

Not quite right, because there is another bug that blocks your ability for the rest of the game
