Respect the killer and leave

Back in 2017 that was the norm, and while it was annoying you at least traded some points for it. Nowadays it is far, far more common for the survivor to not let the killer get the hit - meaning their sole reason for being there was they wanted the killer to watch them leave which makes absolutely no sense to me and is an objective waste of my time to go there as hunting is the easiest category to max out before this point.

When I'm surviving, if I don't have a legit reason to stay, I'm opening the gate and getting out...prolonging the game at that point just isn't fun for me and I can be working on getting into my next match, and it forces the game to end in the next couple minutes so neither side can BM the other for long. If I'm killing, I've stopped going to the gates if they're open before I get there...we're all adults (or pretending to be in this M rated game anyway (not getting into how many non-adults play, just using a figure of speech)) here, you can be big boys and girls and walk out that exit without an escort from your killer parent.

As others mentioned, just force them out if they won't leave, not a big deal( or , you can always do something meanwhile the match is coming to an end).

I'm disinclined to give them their chase and escape from chase points if they're not willing to give me anything other than hunter, personally. They're already poised to get 5k, if they're not willing to give me something in return for giving them more points, and the vast majority of the time anymore they're not (it's gotten bad enough I'm actually genuinely surprised when I'm allowed to get a hit if I do show up at a gate) then I'd rather find a fascinating corner and let them waste everyone's time.

All these people saying just hit them out, don't go over and watch them, do something else doesn't really address the issue that people are being dicks. We shouldn't have to force people to just ignore it. It shouldn't happen in general and it should be up to the survivors to change their behavior and not the killer.

But that’s exactly what survs are told to do when they complain about killers playing in a disrespectable way.

why don’t we treat both sides the same?

I think both sides exhibit toxic behaviors and they shouldn't. I would want the killer to change their behavior too if they are intentionally being a dick. You don't need to be a dick to win the game on either side. You also don't need to rub it in other people's face if you win.

That’s how i see it as well.

but then there is no clear definition of toxic behavior and it’s really subjective. Some people just don’t see waiting at gates as toxic because it doesn’t harm anyone and match will end due to EGC. (Not my opinion but I can see the reason behind it)

I would agree with that. I think it is different waiting at the gate if their people that are in the map who haven't escaped. I think some killers view that as toxic, when it is just ensuring their teammates survival. I think if you know everyone is safe and are intentionally bming the killer, that when its like ehhhhhh probably not ok.

It is true though. Toxic behaviors are subjective.

I usually just go around the map and kick pallets or either stand in a corner and go make something to eat. Doesn’t give them the satisfaction, makes themselves look like idiots, and they’ll eventually leave.

It’s a win-win. I have time to make something to eat and they waste their time doing nothing 🤷🏼‍♂️

I've said it before, but as a survivor main, I'd be perfectly fine if they added a grab mechanic in the gate.

I rarely ever stick around. I'd rather go to my next match sooner.

Sorry but you´re asking to much for the survivors to do that.

They stay mostly to tbag and stuff

The guy who exit at the very last moment is the one that didnt do anything in all the match lol

Simple way to not giving them what they want is to not showing up and find some pallets to break. So they dosen't get the attention.Endgame isn't that long.

Besides that, you are right. I play killer AND survivor often and respect the killer's besides they're scumbags to me(Tunneling me from hook 1 to death, facecamp ect )

I had a time where if I wasn't tunneling I got in every match t-bagged bc I didn't play like this.It only stopped at this point where I was so mad that I tunnel EVERYONE.

I don't mind if you all escape but t-bagging at the exit gates is unrespectful for a killer who played fair.

Not gonna lie when I first started in June I tbagged almost every time. It could be me looking at a tree or something I didn’t care, but that’s just bcuz I was a noob now I just heal up, take a protection hit and leave... UNLESS I got face camped or tunneled for 4-5 gens then yeah it’s different

Did I say it wasn't both ways? Sense survivors be main people on here crying about something then yes u do also have the killers who also be crying about survivor things but I dont see it as often as i see survivors crying about bloodlust, noed, spirt, huntress red add on, doctor and etc... all I really see killers crying about ds,gen speeds, unbreakable combo with ds, locker ds, swf. But yea sure whatever u say bud

Just sit on the other end of the map. If they wanna risk the EGC just to be jerks and taunt you, they can. Look around the Hatch if you want too. This is what I do if I get Survivors like this.

Or you can be smart and force them out the gate.

I don't tbag at the gates but to be fair Can't really respect killers these dsys because (just my opinion) killers these days have no skill and run tracking perks and Noed because they can't find people on their own I could respect a killer If they didn't need perks like Tracking and Instadown to be good It's like saying Respect a Michael or Ghostface who has free Instadown and they're running noed. Survivors are kinda hard to find but you don't need 3 tracking perks to find them (I say 3 because most games I get Into the killer has 3 tracking perks and some other bull like Ruin or Noed.)
