But how do you really know they're a SWF?

Literally the most annoying question on these forums when someone vents their frustration at the disadvantage of vs'ng a tryhard SWF. I play ps4 East Asia region late at night everyday (1-5am) and trust me once you hit green and beyond, as killer all you face are red/purple rank SWF (3 man minimum). Guess people like to play with their friends ok fine.

To the killer mains (or killer/surv) friends out there Im sure youll know instantly when there is swf and a tryhard one as well. I wanna share how I suspect, detect and confirm this quite easily throughout the trial. Before surv mains get angry over this Im in no way discrediting you guys Im sure youre all great players, who knows maybe your swf team will be more efficient after reading this post. Lots of times Ill get bodied by efficient ones maybe 1/5 games Ill get 3/4 kills, but it just helps me calm down cause I realize Im up against the odds when facing these teams.

At the lobby is the most common way to detect, multiple P3 Blendetes are the easiest telltale. A 'bright' kate/nea/zarina with a flashlight as the chaser with darker skinned teamates as gen jockeys also gives it away. Finally multiple toolboxes or flashlights will indicate the style of the swf as well. Next is offering multiple BPS/Oak or Haddonfield/Farm/Ormond offering is common for swf, cause they wanna double down on BP since theyre likely gonna win.

During trial is the most obvious. All advantages swf have over solos boils to one word, INFORMATION. Although its not the same as specific perks, swf can still relay these info when there is absolutely no way for solos to do the same. Here is a list of perks providing such information for solos that all swf team members can get for free:

1) Alert - I saw him pop the upstairs gen, focus on the shack gen instead

Killer - My bad thought I didnt hear shack gen too loud just now.

2) Better Together - Shes chasing me away from this last gen near harvester, you guys finish it after healing its 90% done

Killer - Tinkerer is freaking useless!

3) Bond - Applies to whole map with a bit less accuracy. Need I say more?

4) Dejavu - I saw 2 close gens near the pantry but hes following me to the shack now, focus on that to break the 3 gen early

Trapper - There goes my 3 gen, guess its gg.

5) Detectives Hunch - I saw the ruin at the cow tree, Ill lead him away for you to cleanse

Killer - Totem spawns are stupid!

6) Empathy - Do you need healing? Im in the storehouse working on a gen come here and Ill patch you up with my medkit

Killer - Guess thana isnt doing much for me

7) Kindred - He just left me its clear to unhook or - Hes proxy camping bang out that middle generator quick

Killer - To camp or not to camp, that is the question

8) OoO - We all see you, you can only see me lol legit the killer is the one scared now

Killer - Im gonna tunnel you if its the last thing I do Jake!

9) Plunderers - Found the hatch? Bubba franklined my purple key/flashlight at the cop car, pick it up hes chasing me inside the house.

Bubba - Keys are broken! Hiughhahhewhahehajue!

10) Wake up - Ive 99ed the gate at the circus, just head here we'll take hits for you or - Sorry I gotta leave cant hold this gate cause he's tier 3 now, you can go to the other gate at the first gen we did near the jungle gym remember?

Myers - If I leave they use this gate, If I stay the EGC might get them before they find the other gate - proceeds to Moonwalk at gate

11) Windows of Opp - I 360'd him guys! Still got my dead hard to get to shack or jungle gym, did you use god pallet? Its still there go nuts!

Killer - Yeah take my misshit bait go to that jungle gym theres nothing there fool, wait why are you turning left?

Endgame. Leaves me wondering how is that theyre soo coordinated? Never taking me to a gen thats worked on, always knowing which tile still has a pallet. Always finishing difficult gens when Im occupied. Heading to hatch as I chase and all of them already waiting there to escape cheaply. Never more than 2 injured if Im doing something for more than 30 secs. Always going for the right gate. Unhooking the moment Im halfway to go pressure the other 2 off gens. Usually nearby for a flashlight save. 3 man coordinated body block for the girl dead on hook. The guy with DS/Adrenalin voluntarily taking hits for injured teammate when nearly all gens done. Amazing For the People timing if I slug. Result - ENTITY DISPLEASED =(((

They must have at least a few aura reading/info perks right? Nope, just the common DBD meta (DS/BT/DH) combo + some other for 'plays' like Unbreakable, FTP, Head On etc. So how the hell did all of this coordination happen without a single aura reading perk? Final slap to the face, gg ez baby killer. Funnily Ive never had such messages vs solos. By now its quite obvious. Somehow the same thing doesnt happen when I face high rank solos or even 2men swf. Survs unhook timings are less precise, 3-4 people injured at same time is usual, gens at 90% usually regress halfway if Im chasing that surv away from it.

From a person facing swf (sweaty and non-sweat) 4/5 games in my play time/region, I can easily answer "How do you know theyre swf ?" quite easily. When I enter such lobbies I know what Im up against and Ill put my sweat bands on. Doesnt mean Ill enjoy it. When I get solos I really do laugh and smile while playing goofing and farming around with surv if the EGC has started.

Its not gonna change I know but can we all please accept that it is a HUGE advantage for these teams and such a pain for the killers having to vs them every single game in certain times/region. Balancing solos up to swf before making it fair to both sides is lightyears ahead and might not even be feasible. I plead for the developers to consider and sympathize killers facing sweaty swf regularly just a tiny bit moving forward with this game. Just a simple 25% extra BP for every surv in a party wouldnt hurt much.

    SWF with voice comms does give a massive advantage and there's no question about it. It's just a mechanic that makes the game fun for 4 players at the expense of one.

    Or so it seems on the forums.

    I play at the same times when my sleep schedule is messed up like right now. You are NOT joking when you say every game is a SWF, hell i'd even say there are more SWFs than solos at that time.

    Worst part is that majority of them are toxic dwights or quentins.

    I've played a lot at these times and I can tell instantly when it's a SWF judging by their usernames, outfits and profiles. A very common thing is to have a random 5 letter username like "CNDV-" or "N2-_-RB", I have absolutely no clue why there are so many usernames like that. Their outfits will always have prestige 3 on them, and they'll always be arabic for some reason. Some have inspirational quotes in their profiles or make their profile look really edgy which is ironic because they're always the most toxic ones.

    But anyway yea, it's super easy to tell these are SWF.

    SWFs normally overperform. Solo queue is easy to win as killer.
