Have the sounds been fixed??

I played a handful of games as killer this evening, and I swear I can literally hear the survivors now with some real accuracy. In one case, I managed to track a survivor through a complex path only by listening to her sounds, which I could never do before. I had 3 or 4 games in a row like this.
I swear something has changed, and changed for the better. I'm liking it!

Give it a day or two, I'm sure if they were fixed they will break again real soon.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: No.
It's in the same state it was before the patch. Sometimes you could hear, sometimes you couldn't.
