Hi , i need help.

I started experiencing this bug since the start of the silent hill chapter.

So basically what happens is :

1: i open steam and i see a new update for this game

2: i say ok, the update size is completely normal ( lets take the newest billy change -2gb) and start the downloading

3: steam downloads about 700mb's BUT these "700 mb" takes 7GB OF MY SPACE ON MY DISK

BUT WAIT THERES MORE


so i delete some games ( i deleted sven coop) which cleared about 2gb of space

after deleting i pressed continue download .... BUT the update for some ever reason changed from 2gb to 14gb...

and.... i had 12gb downloaded from nowhere ... ok ? it just happened.

so i said ok it might just bugged out.

After a while my entire disk was full again but steam didnt download anything, not even a single mb.

so i tried to restart steam.... so i did. i booted up steam again and this happened.

i dont even know what is going on at this point but i know same happened with the release of silent hill chapter. But with THAT update i was at least able to download it ( after downloading it cleared the space it took before ) but here it just .... does nothing. What am i supposed to do ? i cant download since when i press contiue it just start from the start downloading 1mb - 17 gb which is complete nonsense



- this does not happen with other games only dbd

-i had the latest version of the game before this update

-tried to restart steam, made it only worse

- please help me

after it took all my space , it slowly began to free it up from 2gb to 2.40gb with about 3 seconds pause between those changes then it slowly came back to 4.84 and now its stuck there.





im sorry for my english but i really need help since i dont know what to do anymore and im scared to reinstall the whole game.
