Decisive buff idea
Since it seems to be such a talk now, here would be my idea on how to buff DS and make it fair. My idea is this: Decisive strike activates once you get unhooked, it stays active until the killer hooks another survivor or they tunnel you. If you get tunneled and hit the skill check or miss it, the perk deactivates for the rest of the match. The stun time could be increased with the level, giving the survivor who hit the skill check a chance to get away. That way killers won't be able to tunnel and slug to wait for ds to end but good killers won't get punished by ds because of its duration right now after they quickly got another survivor.
What do you think about it?

Low tier bait

Turn a minute of immortality into infinite immortality..that would be abused so hard your head would spin my friend

It’s fine the way it is, except they really should make it so that if you hook another survivor the last loses it. It may be intended to counter tunneling but I’ve been ds’d so many times after hooking one or two other survs it isn’t funny. Also, it needs to be deactivated when in a locker so sick of that crap.

It's not an anti tunneling perk, it's literally 60 seconds of immunity. Just slug or take the DS stun

Except you can't slug,"the small pp build" exists.

True, so either way. Make them use DS early so they don't have it when it matters or waste the Unbreakable

let me get this right....
You mean to buff the strongest survivor perk in the game....... WHAT?!?!?!?!
Just lower the time from 60 seconds to 30 unless in chase... If you decide to bodyblock that's on you
also if healed or on a gen it deactivates (it doesn't matter if you tap the gen or get your back touched)

This thread is funny. Funny as in, it's like watching a comedian on stage, and people aren't laughing at their jokes because they are funny. They're laughing at the comedian because their jokes are terrible.

I like the idea that it deactivates when hooking the next survivor in most scenarios, but a few issues:
- that survivor can now live out the rest of the match in comfort busting out gens if the killer isn't able to down and hook another survivor
- if they are the last survivor in the match (e.g. they deliverenced themselves off hook or the guy that unhooked them dcs) then there is no way to deactivate the DS
- if any other survivors are just being super immersed and killer can't find them.
so really I think it should still have the timer, plus deactivating when someone else is hooked
actually what I think would be really great is if DS were an exhaustion perk. Then it limits what survivors can do while DS is up and gives a lot of killers ways to counter with exhaustion add ons

Decisive Strike punishes the killer for tunneling, it is not a warranty for survivors.

Poor bait

I'll over think it again, this was my first idea but I realize how stupid it is rn tbh. I'll try thinking of a better way or of a downside to it. It was my first time thinking about a perk buff

You're right, I should've thought this through a bit more.

I love the idea of it being an exhaustion perk.

You could've said that nicer, it was my first time suggesting something and I just forgot to think it through.

Sorry bud, I have no patience for a thread that was made with zero common sense in mind.

Mate, people think decisive is too strong because it provides basically a minute of invincibility, your change does nothing but make that time longer. You really need to think this through more.
