Matchmaking Question
Long time follower, but I haven't really started posting until recently. I play survivor and killer pretty evenly, and I'm a much more casual player than some. That being said, what happened to matchmaking!? This is me genuinely trying to understand not start a debate between survivor mains and killer mains...
I remember reading that on console they were running a test where essentially killers would be able to essentially "break in" a new killer against lower ranked players so there was ample opportunity to learn the killer without getting steamrolled by high ranked survivors. The once piece I don't remember reading anything about is the survivor piece. How are they matching up survivors as there aren't necessarily "different survivors?"
I've been playing the last few days and going against red ranks is one thing, but when level 17's and level 20's are thrown in the mix against a red rank killer no one has a chance...it's not even fun for the killer! These red rank killers could literally take almost any killer in the game and go against these newer players just starting out and 4k pretty much every time as they understand basic mechanics, spawn points, map layouts, etc and these new survivors barely understand skill checks and totems.
Again, this isn't me complaining as it is trying to better understand. Did I miss something on this matchmaking announcement?
