New map idea!!

Labyrinth map.... High walls... maybe made of stone? And it could change when a gen is powered and have A middle part where is a big house or any kind of building... So what i mean is a huge maze like map... Would be awesome!!! Any thoughts?

I'm always down for a maze. I think this has potential going forward.

I would love this but the Frame rate after the first gen would be ridiculous. Especially if it's one of those killers with hamster powered Internet

Ok then each gen that is used helps open up paths back to the center and after the last gen I done the exit has a path to it but if you want to team you have to go to the center

The game as a map sometimes feels like labyrinth and even though it is not designed for that, it is really frustrating. I can't imagine them creating a labyrinth map intentionally.

Ever changing and meaning you have to adapt in shocked someone dont like it * is holding a sarcasm sign * but seriously this would make it much harder for both killers and survivors as you cant just memorize gen location's and as it changes you have no clue if while hidden form the killer thanks to a wall so not paying attention wall disappears and your grabbed

I pictured something like a two layer map. The top being mostly flat, with occasional brush and trees...maybe a building.

The bottom would be like the catacombs under Paris(I think that's where they are..).

Creepy, and yet very doable for a maze like structure underneath....and a mostly normal above.

Either that....or we use a broken down mansion that frames a hedge maze garden on three sides. The mansion would have two floors(or more), and the maze would be of a moderate size and contain a fountain or statue in the center.

mazes are wonderful...but if they have no reason for being there....it feels more like a minigame.(And right now...dead by daylight has enough of that going around.)

I had a similar idea to that for a new Red Forest map (Huntress' realm). Since we know from her bio, the Huntress lived during WWII (and presumably WWI). She is at the very least well into adulthood by the time of WWII.

"War eventually came to the forest. German soldiers began to pass through, on the march to attack the collapsing Russian Empire. During these dark times, there were no more travelers. The villagers had abandoned their homes, and no more little ones to be found; only soldiers. Many of them were found with violent axe wounds. Whole groups disappeared mysteriously. Once the war was over, the rumors of The Huntress disappeared with it, engulfed by the Red Forest."

The entire center portion of the map (from wall to wall) would be barren nothingness with no cover, in that open field, there would be a series of trenches that could have been utilized by German and Russian forces. The edges away from the middle area would be heavily forested much like the Mother's Dwelling map.

I like this. It could be fun. Maybe the entity burns a pathway?

Maybe 2 part game where you have 4 gens on the top layer and after powering 2 of them the bottom maze layer open and the real trial begins?

More maps would be great, perhaps with more cool gameplay elements?

    High walls?
Nurse is gonna celebrate and Huntress cries in a corner.

No seriously, no Huntress would favor such a map at all.

this idea would cause half the current killers to dc, while making the other half crazy op

Right? Hillbilly could, in a chase, easily hit them in those tight corridors.

Imagine getting tunnelled by the killer in a labyrinth and still getting away from the killer even at dead ends.

There really needs to be more hospital maps (doc realm maps) as well as smaller sized forest maps with tall trees and obstacles (huntress realm maps) and of course oriental school/train crash site for the spirits realm.

Not to mention for example the Trapper having traps where walls would go. Or any killer having a bit of distance between them and the survivor and then suddely a wall gets in front of the killer and saves the survivor lol

There is that kind of maps already so it would not matter at all...
