the new promo codes

hi, so since the new patch, the devs have introduced promo codes. the thing is, i haven't heard them say anything else about it. has anyone heard of how they will function or of actual codes?

    Presumably, they will be given out during livestreams and other dev-community interactions, and likely award Auric Cells/Iridescent Shards.

    Can't really see it being much else.

    Also I saw that it had something to do with the Fog Whisperer program

    for console at least
