Meg's new Outfit is in Both Free and Paid Track
Why is this outfit split between the two tracks? Head piece is earned for free at Tier 70, while the shirt is given at Tier 1 of the paid track and the pants are also somewhere in the paid track.

Im pretty sure I remember this happening in the first rift.
Its obvious why. Get 1 or 2 parts, encourages you to get the pass for the full set

Also the outfits will eventually be available in the store so right now it's just free things until it releases, at which point you'll be able to purchase it at a discount since you already own a piece.
If you don't want to buy the pass you don't have to. The only thing that's exclusive there as far as we know are charms.

How is putting one of the pieces for free a "greedy" move?
They could have just both the entire thing in the paid track like they did with every other premium outfit. Throwing in the head piece, which unlike the other two, goes nicely with many other outfits was a nice gesture. You people will whine about literally everything.

They did it in Tome II that I recall. Not a problem. They give a more adaptive piece in the free track and ppl get estimulated to get the pass if they desire the full custom combination.
A good sell strategy and no one gets harm, and the free track gets an Ultrarare custom.

Same thing happened for the last two rifts at least, so it's not surprising.

Meg's outfit looks like expensive lingerie... if you're into that 🤷♂️

They're doing it so you need to cough up $10 to buy a Rift pass. Be the bigger man and don't buy the Rift at all.

Emphasis on eventually. Eventually can be ten years from now. The stuff from the first battlepass still hasn't been released and there are no news either.

This is how a lot of the outfits have been in the rift

They did do it before. First Rift had a free Claudette head and her Torso in the premium track.

They said minimum 6 months.
I'm gonna take a guess the nurse skin is going to be this October with the Hallowed [whatever] collection we have this year.

This is pretty standard business practice. How do you think these people make money to keep the game alive and active with new content.
The sales on the game came and went, the biggest money comes from microtransactions and the more enticing they are the easier people empty their wallet. I literally bought the rift pass for the very first time because I liked the Meg's skin-revealing outfit. Give me any sexy outfit, I buy it, I love some eye-candy while running away from the killer, haha.
Anyway, my point is, good for them to have a healthy business sense. If all outfits were behind paywall, now that would be pretty messed up. It is only natural that some outfits remain behind paywall for them to make money. Now do I like that I have to pay real money instead of playing the game to earn them, obviously, I don't, but I understand how businesses work. It's tough love.

I didn't notice this was standard practice and had happened in previous rifts. I only pay attention to the Meg outfits cause she has all my survivor bp put in to her.
Getting all the way to Tier 70 is kind of a bummer for me; I did it for all previous rifts and was hoping to take a break from pushing the rift grind this time around.
