I'm an artist who sometimes works with character concepts. I was working on an idea for a chapter of killer/survivor twin combo, for fun purposes, however, i changed my mind about posting it here since i saw this on the fixed post:

I mean, if they actually like my idea, or anyone's, they shoud credit the person or compensate them somehow.

I don't feel very confortable sharing my creations under these circustances, especially since its so common for an artist's wrok to be stolen. How about you guys? Is there a safer space to maybe share and talk about new ideas?

    I feel like they should credit the person they take an idea from. It doesn't have to be huge; perhaps just mentioning "this perk/killer/power was suggested by XYZ on the DbD forums" in a dev stream or something.

    Basically, ideas that are shared on our forum can be used for the game in the future - that's why we have this section of the forum, and we have this disclaimer to advise our Users that this can happen.
