last year's didn't happen because of the famous "unforeseen circunstances" and we had to buy the skins by normal game currency in the store, with only one of them buyable for shards.

This year there wasn't any announcement or anything like if it wasn't planned, I don't know if this year we have winter event or it will never be a thing again too.
