Plain and simple, its not overpowered in its current state, but definately can be a hard hitter for end game.

The change that needs to happen

Rooting its power on hope; You are animated by the power of A Hex Totem when the survivors are on the verge of escaping. Once the Final Generator is Complete, a dull totem remaining on the map, is given as a beacon of your new found power

While this Hex Is Active:

  • Survivors suffer from the Mortal Wounds status effect when hit.
  • Your movement speed is increased by 1%/1.5%/2% For each survivor Hit.
  • if Exit Gates are powered, All survivors affected by Mortal Wounds are put into the dying state, and the End Game Timer is reduced by 5/10/15 seconds per survivor still alive.

When this Hex is made inactive during End Game:

  • All Survivors afflicted by Mortal Wounds are healed by 60 / 50 / 45%, and have 30 / 25 / 20 seconds added to their Bleed out, and Entity Progression Timer.
  • Remove all Negitive Action Debuffs survivors are afflicted with.


Mortal wounds will down any survivor after 30 seconds of the effect is placed on the survivor, and the are outside of a chase. This remains on the survivor until the HEX is cleared.

Movement speed would now take effort to get; and be punishable once cleansed.

Cleansing the totem is now a reward to the survivors, and plays into the risk reward system that totems are based on.

If the totem is cleasned you now have actual insentive to try and get your teammates up; along with this, killers are punished for mass slugging with NOED, as cleansing the totem can get anyone who has recovered over 55% healed to their Injured state.


I thought of making it to where mortal wounds would disable the ability to Heal to Healthy, and recover. thus making it so only other people could pick a survivor up, and no one would be able to heal until the totem is cleansed.

While this Hex Is Active:

  • Survivors suffer from the Mortal Wounds status effect when hit.
  • Your movement speed is increased by 1%/1.5%/2% For each survivor Alive.
  • Survivors cannot recover until exit gates are powered, or until the totem is cleansed.

I thought this one though would have nuetared the snowball ability that is supposed to be given if you reach end game, so I thought of giving it its own idea, instead of a totem Myers.
