Wake up+Remember me and Endgame change ideas

So what if, as someone mentioned a few days ago on the forums, the 'Opening gate' action would have checkpoints at 25%, 50% and 75% and if you, let's say, leave the gate at 99%, the progress would regress slowly back to the last checkpoint, 75%. This change could make the endgame more interesting and if this mechanic were to be implemented I found 2 perks that could get a buff:

Wake up!: Unlocks potential in one's Aura-reading ability.Once all generators are powered, Exit Gates are revealed to you when within a range of 128 metres. While opening the Exit Gates, reveal your aura to other Survivors within a range of 128 metres.

While Wake Up! is active, you open Exit Gates 5/10/15 % faster and the progress of opening the exit gates doesn't regress at all if the action is interrupted.


Remember me: Each time you hit your Obsession, you increase the Exit Gate Opening time by 4 seconds up to a maximum of 8 additional/12 additional/16 additional seconds. In addition the rate at which the progress of opening the exit gates regresses is increased to 100%/150%/200%.

The Obsession is not affected by Remember Me.


What y'all think? I have to say that I really like this idea and would make these 2 perks a lot better.

    Wake up isnt even on the Switch yet. It doesnt seem fair the only way around a regression, they dont have.

    I just don't think that the exit gate should regress at all. End game is fine where it is and EGC was never added just to give killers free kills. That's an added bonus for killers if they play their cards right, yes, but I don't think the 99'ing gates thing needs changed. Survivors should be allowed to have counterplay to certain killer perks, and most of the time survivors have legitimate reasons to not open the gate fully outside of just being BMing rats.


    Also, this just nerfs solo queue and barely affects SWFs. It's easy to communicate that someone needs to stay at the door and have it ready at the perfect time in SWF, but that would be nigh impossible in solo.


    I could be in favor of Remember Me somehow getting a buff, because it's kind of a crappy perk (and most certainly based on old Freddy) but I definitely don't support disabling the ability to 99% the gate
