Ugh. I’m not surprised they’d do this before fixing important issues (auras, indoor map performance). Can’t wait to go down in MMR rating because I’m playing a PowerPoint presentation!
At least I can get Adept Oni and Deathslinger without having to sweat extremely hard because of red rank Survivors.

how does player know if he is bad or simply plays at high mmr therefore facing a strong teams?

So if I use my 100 moris on one killer to be the top MMR will I have to wait 30 minutes for a queue now instead of 10?
I suggest you do what other games that have MMR do and show what said MMR is.

We have been running smaller tests of the system on select Xbox One regions for the past few weeks, and the results have been encouraging.
Says who? Literally almost all Xbox players have said the new MMR system is not working properly. Lol.

Two games of this new MMR and I'm now facing baby killers and put with survivors that don't own DS. I don't know if I should be offended that the system thinks I'm this bad or happy I can have relaxing games now. Apparently my solo rank 1 has been rank 20 all along.

Oh man, I’m scared. Matches are either gonna become way more fun or completely frustrating. Guess I’ll have to boot up the game and see :D

So far I've been put with other Survivors that makes you think we're a SWF but we're not. But the killers are boosted and have tunnel vision resulting in no kills for the poor killer.

Matchmaking worked definitely better in the last 3 weeks than today for me. At least in my 2 killer games. But I guess MMR has to settle first and then there never was a guaranteed perfect matchmaking..

well just after reading this post figured i'd "test" the "match making", went 2 perk meg for my challenge, she's rank 5 so pretty crap.
me and 3 random survivors were greeted with a p3 doctor with corrupt, pop, monitor and abuse and brutal strength.
game "ends" in 3minutes, finishes at 7 because he decided to slug and break pallets, close hatch, open gates, etc.
end screen shows us that i was a rank 12 survivor, others were rank 8, 5 and 5.
killer was a rank 1 with those 4 perks maxed out, p3, perfect addon combo and brought an pudding.
guy stomped us effortlessly to the point where he left a slug to go farm points.

Both my teammates and the killer were clearly new to the game in the first 3 matches I played.
Was this system calculating our skill level before it was activated or is everyone at the bottom skill level right now?

Well then, I'll be curious to see how good the system thinks I am at everything when I'm done working. Judging from these responses, I'm guessing pretty bad.

Skill level has been retrospectively tracked ahead of MMR being enabled.

quite possible but thing is im a rank 12, i aint "pro" i dont SWF and more often than not i strive to save myself, nobody in that game had a chance to do anything the game was basically over before a gen was even done

It's possible they are taking the 4 survivors MMR and averaging them out. The theory being you'll anchor the team enough to even it out. That's just a guess though.

I been getting random ranks from reds to yellows and mixed.
It's a complete mess at the moment.
I won against Red Potatoes, lost to Pro Greens. It don't make sense.

They said in their post they don’t like tge rank system and are working on alternatives but instead of making everyone wait on the visuals as well as the new system they decided to run tests on the new system itself first

Exactly. I'm not a bad player. I'm just ok. But winning again a few reds is mindboggling. And losing to yellows and greens. Like wth?

I hate it. they said they collect data. I thought it means, that on release you do not start at 0. But i only get matched with brown and yellow ranks versus high skilled killer spamming mori offerings and black wards.
