What the Killer/Survivor Relationship should look like.

Just got out of a series of four games that I think encapsulates the best of this game.

1st game: I was a killer and was facing 3 people that were playing together and 1 random. I knew the three people and was even friends with one of them. IT was a really good match. They got me down to 1 gen and I was nervous. Ended up securing the 4k in the end.

After the match, the friend I knew invited me to their group and we begin playing together. Combined we had about 5,000 hours split pretty evenly. The first two games we all escaped, I kept trading in though to make sure they didn't get downed. Even made a risky save that paid off and made sure they all got out.

Game 4: Faced a killer with the same amount of hours we all had. We were able to get down to one gen and then unfortunately 2 had died at this point. We had a gen that was close an the killer was on top of us. My other teammate was injured. I decided to sacrifice myself for them and left them the medkit I had. I then led the killer on a chase and let my teammate finish the gen and escape. I went down and died, but felt like I had paid them back for killing them the first game.

I think this shows two great points.

  1. Even though I killed them the first game, they still wanted me on their team as a survivor for the other games.
  2. Even though I killed them all the first game, I went out of my way to save them as a survivor.

Not sure what point I am trying to make and not trying to change anyone's behavior. I just wanted to point out that it is possible to play all sides and still respect each other.
