Whats up with the new mm?
Have done my first game since weeks, maybe a month and got without kidding direct matched as rank 20 (because I barely play since ... pff... a year maybe?) against a swf inclusive flashlights and toolboxes.
This thread is less about "nerf this, or that" and more about "whas there not something new about mm"?
Did the mm remember the ranks I have ever passed? Then I would understand it, because I was once for 2-3 months in the red ranks before I decided to derank.
But man... That was a punch right in my face after all that time^^. Not complaining here, but I am confused.

From what we've been told, the MMR algorithm has been running in the background to discern players' skill levels for a while now, so it may have determined that would've been an appropriate trial for you.

Oh, is that so? Well, then I understand it.
As said before I was once in higher ranks and even in the few games I had done in this year, I had most of the time very good games that were almost always 4k if I would not have the behavior to let 1 survivor always go after a good match.
