Hub Option while waiting for matches?

So this is an idea I have had for a while, and watching the Kings video just reminded me of it. So we all know that when waiting for a match, it can take a really long time and can be quite boring just watching your character stand there.
So I've been thinking. What we could at least get, is the option to run around the lobby while we're waiting for a match you know? Instead of just standing there you're able to move around, and keep yourself somewhat occupied. That's just the minimum though.
The king had a great idea with the option of a hub. Where you can run around, visit the store, change your outfit, etc. I feel like it would make somewhat sense lorewise, and I feel like it would satisfy everyone. How would you guys feel about this?
