The MMR system will never work for DBD.
MMR systems are good in games where both sides have the same objective and the same winning conditions.
DBD is asymmetrical and both sides are scored entirely differently - and we don't even know the formulas of how our MMR score is calculated. Does the system take maps or addons into the account for killers? Does it take in the fact that swf has an advantage over solo queue? There are way too many variables and constants for the formula to work properly and we will NEVER have an accurate MMR system.
Even if a perfect MMR formula was created, this system would still suck - as your MMR gets higher, you'd start seeing only 3 killers all the time - Spirit, Nurse, Freddy, maybe the occasional Billy or Oni. As a survivor, to play at a lower MMR and get more killer diversity you'd have to actively throw and lose matches.
Can we just go back to the old emblem system? All the devs need to do is make ranking up more difficult for survivors, as it is just simply too easy to get to red ranks.

Its just gonna lead to deranking being a heavy problem again the developers don't learn from the previous mistakes of the last system let them reap what they sow they'll start to understand once the forums light up about deranking and how unfun the games are and how long queues are it's gonna happen.
