No hatches on Swamp?
I played a couple of games now, both survivor and killer on the Pale Rose map, and there... just was no hatch.
At all. traversed the map in all cases, and in one case the killer confirmed they didn't come across the hatch.
What happened?

The swamp has a wider potential area the hatch can spawn. Unlike every other realm, it can actually spawn around the edges of the map. This can make it much harder to come across than anywhere else.

yeah, but if I go across the map like i'm looking for a missing person in a forest (... oddly appropriate metaphor there), survivor in tow, and find nothing I don't think it's there...

There is often gens and totems spawn by the edge wall. So hatch sometimes spawn by the wall too.
