Why am I getting matched up only with rank 20's?

I know that you're gonna say that rank doesn't correlate to skill and bla bla bla, but it definitely correlates to experience, and these guys should absolutely NOT be playing with me, as they are just starting to play the game. This ruins the fun for them and for me.

Because the devs clearly weren't thinking about newer players when they made this "matchmaking" system. But hey, buy this skin for $20!

Legit as a red rank survivor im only getting new killers, however as a red rank killer im only getting red and purple survivors. I have yet to get one of these fabled new survivor matches.
