This is just not okay
So am i supposed to be okay with a match like this?, is this what the new mmr is all about? i mean fair enough rank does not equal skill, but it does have some weight in overall time played and experience and there is 0 reason why i that played this game for 2000+ hours should be playing againts people one of which probably its first match ever. that probably uninstalled and refuneded the game right after this match.
Are these devs trying to kill this game now or what?

i think what happened here is this:
New players with no experience yet being thrown into boiling water to evaluate. I can see the reasoning, but jeesh, that's not a good approach. it's bringing fast results, but it's frustrating.
Maybe if the devs would give us a rematch button, to show new players the ropes (hooks?)...

This is the exact opposite problem I'm having, I'm currently rank 13 getting sweaty red rank survivors and it's killing my enjoyment of the game.

I mean you're spot on. I think that's exactly what's happening. Seems like the system is testing players with no matchmaking data.
And in a game with a "quick match" / "unranked" option, this wouldn't really matter. They could just go play QP with their more randomized match making and have a fun game. Instead, they're essentially forced to play competitive games, and deal with the eccentricities of competitive MMR systems.

Happened a lot before that even to ranks 8-13 you still had red ranks cause its very easy to get to as a survivor
Yet leave some time to the MMr to settle things down and get everything working alright (and try to use the time to learn a fiew things, you never know haha)
Know that i am a rank 9 killer tighter ranks 1-4 survivors post of his games (before mmr)
