Thanks for fixing the auras DEVS: For the color blind ones - is it little better for you now too?
I'm finding it much better, as I'm sure many are. So thank you.
For the players that have vision issues - are you finding it a bit better now?

I dont have vision issues, but i´m still glad they changed it and made the auras easy visible again. Much more fun to play on both sides if you play with aura perks like empathy, kindred, dark sense or alert as survivor and surveillance as killer (and even more with bbc, bitter murmur or hex perks). Thank you for the fast fix.

It's better than it was, but it's not... perfect?
I'm colorblind so it's really just the usage of red and green that makes things difficult. Like the brightness is better now, so I can actually see the auras now and play the game again, but I still have a hard time telling the red and green auras apart (and I can't see blood at all, and scratch marks are still hard as hell for me to follow, but those are different issues).
Swapping auras and scratchmarks to a more colorblind friendly set of colors (like yellow and purple or something), and making blood stand out more would fix all my problems with the game's UI/visual assets.
TLDR; It's better than it was, but there is still a lot of room to improve as far as accessibility goes.

They need to stop the excuse that players will gain "an unfair advantage" by using color-blindness mode and add one already. BHVR is looking like douchebags by not implementing it. So many players would be so happy if they did. They have literally NOTHING to lose.

I haven't seen the new auras yet, but just so you know auras have been red/yellow/white for a long time. Yellow for survivors (that arent on hooks) red for survivors on hooks/downed, as well as Hooks/Generators/Totems, and Killer.
And white is for like... blocked generators, alarm clocks, the jigsaw cabinet, and the plague pools.

The fact I can't even tell that says a bit about their choice of coloring system doesn't it?
Yeah, I don't really understand that argument. If everyone has access to the ability to recolor auras/scratches, then it can't really give anyone an "unfair advantage" can it?
All it can do is give people who are already at a disadvantage the help they need to see auras as clearly as people with normal vision.
Changing auras from red to blue or whatever won't help a player with normal vision who can see both just as easily. It makes no sense lol

I guess their worry is that players change it into hot pink or something, cause that'll stand out a lot but like.. who cares? If color blind people can play the game as well as a normal vision player can, then that's a major win for the Dead by Daylight community.

I mean what would be the difference though?
Auras are supposed to be clear and visible lol. I can't imagine how hot pink would be any more visible to someone with normal vision compared to red, or yellow, or any other color. But even if it was, would it be that game changing? Everyone would have access to the same tools. Everyone would be able to change it to the most visible color for them.
Idk. I just don't get it. I feel like they're so set on this specific art style that they're willing to ignore colorblind players, because they seemingly can't stand for their assets to be be colored in any other way.

Like I said, who cares except BHVR? I'd rather have bright pink scratch marks and auras if it meant that color blind players could enjoy the game as much as I can.

still no colorblind options so....

I have a hard time imagining changing scratch marks and auras, things that intended to be used to track survivors, cant harm the game or give an unfair advantage. But maybe the blood should stay difficult to see as in stay the dark red color, if it suddenly glowed purple or something similar no one would be able to hide in this game.

I wish they'd add in accessibility options. So what if scratch marks and auras are made different colors, just let people be able to see them that have vision issues.
