DBD could use a ground up rework.
I'm talking the levels of a DBD 2 kinda foundational rework.
So much of this game was built on bad coding habits and Unreal Blueprints (which Scott pointed out in one of his vids, will link). I think the best thing in terms of game health we can hope for is a foundational change to the code, and along with that perhaps some meta changes (perhaps like each survivor specializes in one field. Also perhaps expanding objectives and making them more interesting and complex).
I know it's probably never going to happen, with budget and all that. This is just a pipe dream that would be a fix to most every bug we encounter currently.
But with the large team over at BHVR, how long would it take them to make a DBD 2? Food for thought.

It's too soon for a DBD 2. My biggest fear with that, is that either the 2nd game gets too much more popular which makes the original have a non-existent player base, or the devs stop supporting the first game like not giving us servers to play on.

there will not be a dbd 2 cuz if they do that now they will get alot of bug too much work etc and i dont want to see that coming
