New idea for Dead by Daylight devs (killing system, hiding spots, traps)
I was thinking about making new hiding places, traps and a new system for the killer(s) to kill us.
Hatches in the ground|floor:
Let survivors hide in ground|floor hatches.
Killers saw table(s):
Create a new sort of killing system (instead of hooks), you get saw table(s). (or both). The saw will start spinning and moving towards the survivor(s) body (to kill him/her).
Killers killing cage
Create a cage(s) that hangs in the air with hot lava (or chemicals etc) beneath in a pit|hole. You as a killer can put a survivor in that cage. the cage will close by itself (or by the killer) once a survivor is in it, the cage is triggered by a timing system and will go down progressively (in the lava etc) as the survivor(s) bar goes empty.
Traps:
Create traps that hang in the air that you (as survivor) can trigger to make it fall and form an obstacle for the killer. A killer can obviously see when a survivor has triggered a trap.

These ideas could be used towards mechanics in possible future game modes. There will be people who say omg bad idea. Interesting to visualise and it could be used as inspiration towards something in dbd. I can almost guarantee that nothing will come if this though, but you never know.2

Interesting and the making new obstacles would be both a pain in survivors and killers as survivors have to memorize new routes and new hiding spots are intersting like a killer can find them there as well or gather reloads from them as well and the cage seems intersting but could be more level spersific like autohaven your dropped into the crusher or things like that but what will keep a survivor on the saw table? That seems like it would take the killer longer to do like strapping then down0

I love the idea of hatches in the floor that you can hide in. The traps survivors can use already sound way more fun and interesting than pallets. I keep saying they had a lot of potential with the Gideon Meat Plant, all the Saw styled things we could have had in The Game. Plus they should have map specific objectives, like The Game could have had you going through Saw traps in order to flick a switch for the exit gates. (not that The Game needs to be harder for survivors)

Though one thing id definitely want to add is a booby trapped chest Tha contains a entity hook that hurts a healthy survivor but a wounded one gets dragged into a struggle (does not affect hooks) and this is a killer because A if the killer finds you first they impale you and you die as the chest is dragged away into the ground/sky or if another survivor saves you they die in you place (with a trophy or achievement for it) that would change the dynamic of saving your friends0
