Could it be possible to browse the store and archives while waiting for a match?

There's been a lot of times where when I'm waiting to get into a match I wish that I wasn't limited to just my killer's loadout, bloodweb, and customizations, especially when I'm not using them. This is just me, but I personally feel like it would be really cool if you could look through the store, and even make purchases, while waiting to get into a game, or select challenges in the archives, and maybe you could get a notification for when your game is ready. I'm just wondering if there's a particular reason why it isn't this way, because I'm sure it could have passed through the dev's heads with it being present in so many other games.
