Exposed status lag?
Anyone else get a brief lag when you become exposed, like when NOED is activated or when Myers hits Tier 3? It happens pretty consistently for me, and I've been fine with it until recently I was struggling on the hook and someone cleansed a haunted grounds totem and the lag caused my struggling to get interrupted and I died.
Just wondering if this is something more people are seeing or if it's just me. I've had no problems with high ping or connection at all, so I'm hoping this is a widespread issue

I get that too sometimes, but only for the first time i get expoaed in a trial.

It’s something I’ve seen happening since the latest update. It’s like the screen freezes for a split second, but like you said, whenever somebody is struggling on a hook during this time they will automatically die.

Yeah I think that's probably the same for me, this most recent time was definitely the first time in the trial. Never kept track of whether it happens more than once, but I don't think it does

Happens all the time on console, worse after the last update and even worse on the indoor maps. Any status effect that pops lags the game hard, like whenever bloodlust, exhaustion, exposed, thanathaphobia, oblivious, fell asleep, Myers, whatever kicks in.
Those hook struggle stage deaths have been around for about a year now.

This has been a major issue since the Chains of Hate update.. Every time you get a HUD/UI Update, everything freezes up for 1-2 seconds, but the Devs haven't even acknowledged this as a bug. @Peanits @not_Queen any idea on this?
