The MMR system seems to be doing the complete opposite of what it was intended to do

So I'm finding in my own experience since the release of this system, the killers I do best with are having matches against low rank potatoes (Oni, Wraith, Doctor, etc.). The killers I usually have trouble securing victories with are being paired against players who seem to be pros at the game (mostly Nurse & Trapper tbh). The killers I play the least are also being matched against some hardcore survivor teams (Hillbilly in particular).
Not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same thing, but it makes no sense how their formula for determining MMR is making the opposite of whats intended happen. And queue times have been so god awful recently that I can't even get enough matches to try & balance out some killer MMRs.
