Bannable?
just finished a match as killer. A Quentin told me he reported me because I “teamed” with a survivor. So last 2 remaining. A feng and the Quentin. They were both at a gen. I went for Quentin and killed him. Then I gave feng hatch. He said I was teaming because I avoided the injured feng and went for him instead. Is this bannable?

You killed one and gave the other hatch. If that was bannable, there'd be no killers in the game. Dude is just uber-salt because you didn't give the hatch to him.
Low key - I wouldn't give any Quentin hatch either.

Nah, not bannable. Half the players would be gone if it was.
He just sounds salty tbh. I've run several matches where they'll let the injured Surv get hatch and kill the healthy ones off instead. It's not that big of a deal tbh.
Just keep on playing and enjoy the game. Ignore the salty Quentin.

On the one hand, teaming up with survivors is actually a legit reason for a ban.
But on the other hand, how can a moderator actually prove that you are teaming up with them? It's almost impossible to prove to prove.
Giving the hatch to the last survivor is optional, and the killer can do it. They won't ban you for that.
The typical scenario for that ban reason to be applied will be this:
Let's imagine you find a troll survivor, who will go with you and reveal their teammate's positions. This could be considered "teaming up" with survivors but...
Can you really get punished by this?
I don't think so.
You are just taking advantage of a person who's trolling, it's not your fault. It's their fault.
So who must be punished? Obviously, not you.
I have found this type of trolls in my matches as killer, and my behavior has always been the same.
I take advantage of the information those survivors are giving me, and I finish the game quickly.
It's no use playing the game normally when you find trolls like that.
It happens in every team game. For example, you can find trolls in League of Legends who will feed the enemy team. Do they ban people who take advantage of these trolls in LoL? NOPE. They just ban these type of people, and we are good to go. In DbD, it's the same.
Never fear threats coming from survivors. You will never be banned unless you are using 3rd party apps to cheat.
In this game, like in ALL online games, moderators don't even care about written toxicity (insults, gg ez...etc).
So never use cheats and you'll be completely fine and secure (that's what I do).

You can totally be banned for that and it has happened and discussed here on the forums even not long ago. If a survivor on the receiving end records the game, you will get banned. Just count your blessings because it hasn't happened to you. Yet.
If you run into this kind of trolls, you down them immediately. NEVER EVER follow them around to be shown where the other survivors are.
You're sorrily mistaken when you say you're taking advantage of a person who's trolling if they rat out their teammates and you go along with it. You are actually teaming with them and IT IS your fault. Taking advantage of their trolling without fault is to kill them when they run up to you.
Also, saying that one can be banned only for 3rd party programs is total misinformation that you should stop spreading.
Back to the OP, you did nothing wrong. You're allowed to choose your target. You're allowed to give hatch. In your story, Feng didn't help you in any way to kill Quentin. There was no teaming involved.

Well it depends. Just not killing one is ok. But if the feng had showed you where the other survivor is hidding for example, and you killed im and gave her the hatch, yes, i think that would be bannable.

That's just giving someone hatch, I highly doubt that'd ever be bannable in such a situation.
If Feng showed you where Quentin was hiding, you killed him and then let Feng have hatch that'd be more shady. For both you and Feng, but still don't think anyone would get punished.
If you did that and you were friends on Steam or whatever with Feng, yeah then I wouldn't be surprised if you were punished lol. But that wasn't what happened.

I had one game where one survivor was bodyblocking another at the already broken killer shack God pallet.
I let the blocked survivor out, tunneled the troll down and resumed a normal game pace with the rest.

Well, thanks for the information.
I come from games like League and there, you can just kill trolls and that's not bannable. Maybe I'm biased by my experience.
In my opinion, games with trolls in it should end fast, because the other 3 don't deserve to play at a disadvantage.
If I was playing survivor and I knew that I was playing with trolls, I'd rather get killed fast and skip that game, it's a waste of time playing a 3vs1 at 5 gens unless the survivors are stealth gods or loop gods.
Anyways, if you said that people were banned for doing that and there's a risk in case somebody records the game, I'll take it into account to stop doing it if I find a troll to avoid unnecessary bans. Thanks.
