[*FIXED* SILLY POST] What if a Ceiling/Wall Climbing Killer was added in DBD?
As the title states how would you guys feel if a ceiling or a wall climbing killer was added into the game. Their are plenty of ceiling climbers from multiple genres, but the two that kept appearing in my head was
1: Evil Within 2's Ceiling Climber
2: The [We Don't talk about that...] Live Action Silent Hill Movie- Mannequin thing
How would you guys feel about it? Or what other ceiling climber do you think could pick up the torch and claim that title in DBD?
(EDIT: The gifs should be working properly now I hope 🙏)

I've wanted a centipede for a while. Just climbs over everything and tries to eat survivors. Of course it still has to hook them and feed the Entity, but fear of bugs that can climb on things is a real thing.

I understand where you're coming from. Using a rational fear is what most horror developers/producers tend to do when creating a monster. Whether it be some phobias to make us feel uneasy outwardly, or a fear that will make us nervous mentally.

I would love it. Would love the Licker from RE but it'll never happen. They'd need to rebuild every map from the ground up...

I’m not a huge fan of the series but don’t Xenomorphs (from Alien) like to crawl around. I assume if that power type ever did come around it probably go to something like that.

Have you ever played Aluen Vs Predator? Most of those games let you play as a Xenomorph and it is fun af! I support this idea 100%

Ahh I completely forgot about Licker from the RE series. The map part of it yeeeah... That'd probably be the case. Building up every map just to make it work for one killer. But I think some maps it could have advantages like Crotus Prenn Asylum or Temple of Purgation heck maybe even Midwich Elementary School. But I still see your point nonetheless.

lickers would be pretty tough because they are blind.

Ahh I see, I think I only watched one of the movies but that was it, but I think I do understand what you mean.
Even though it'll get old soon a killer like that could always most likely get a scare out of me since instead of looking around you you have to be focused on your *entire* environment and sound is included as well.

True, but then again looking back at it I don't think it stopped Pyramid Head 😅
But then again that could be the first killer that's revolved around echolocation. So maybe everything will be black in their POV but their surroundings will be highlighted and outlined in white, so it won't be impossible to track. Especially since sound is one of the major aspects in the game.

And I'm glad you like the idea! Even though it's a silly mini share your idea/opinion post it's kinda neat that some people like this small idea a little bit too.

i dont really know if pyramid head can see or not. He may have small eye slits in the helmet, or just be able to see because not human just a manifestation of James's mind, so he doesnt have to play by human rules.
However in RE2 if you quit moving or didnt make noise lickers couldn't find you. Pyramid head would come at you regardless of what you did in SH2

Ahh I see now 🤔
Yeah then that would prove to be pretty difficult it's like getting blinded by a flashlight, but it's permanent

playing a Xeno in AvP Death Match is so much fun dropping down on unexpecting marines.

I'll have to look up gameplay footage about this, and maybe it'll work well upon viewing.
