Noob legion tips/builds?
Hey gamers, I'm thinking on picking DBD back up on Xbox. I never really got far in it and I only bought legion for DLC. I need a few tips to play him properly because I kinda fumble around and only manage to get 1 or 2 survivors at the end. I also need help for what addons and perks to use on him. I remember using his frenzy to get over pallets, is that a bad thing?

Best advice I can give you is to check NotOtzdarva on Youtube/Twitch, he has some amazing in depth guides and hes quite knowledgeable regarding Legion.

When using your power, fake running through a pallet if you want a survivor to drop it. If they drop it you get a free pallet and if they don't you have a free hit.
If there is a survivor that is about to vault a window or pallet and are already injured (and you're using your power) you can swing ahead of them to block them from going through.
Don't use your power for reversal purposes as it will end up losing you distance if you don't hit a survivor.
Don't be afraid to hit a survivor with Feral Frenzy if you're not sure if any survivors are nearby.
Finally as a build, I use Dying Light, Thanataphobia, Hex: Ruin and either Surveillance or BBQ & Chili.

First thing to do with legion, before you do anything else... Pick a bunny colour.

legion is one of the harder killers to play well, which is kinda funny considering they have one of the easiest to understand powers in the entire game.
though due to said power being non lethal you will need to rely on other things to catch survivors.
in the end its really just your overall skill that determines how good you are with this killer - if you are very good at normal M1 chases, this killer is amazing, due to their ability to keep everyone oneshot, however if you are a new player and arent good at predicting a survivors movement yet, this killer is going to be a very weak killer, as they got nothing to assist you during chases.
here are a couple of things for you to remember about him that might help though:
1) his power is non lethal. dont attempt to use it during chases with someone who is already injured / deeply wounded, that would be a waste and wont get you any benefit.
2) you can use your frenzy to locate other survivors. use that to your advantage to find their positions after hitting your first victim, even if you should not be able to reach them, the knowledge itself is important.
3) always try to get chainstabs. frenzying just to hit a single player isnt worth it, you should also not tunnelvision one person down and instead go for the others, not injured survivors.
4) learn to judge the distance at which you can hit a survivvor with your frenzy. if you discover someone who is far away, you can get out of your power, which will pause it and lets it refill from that point on, walk over there manually and then start your power again
5) do not double tap a survivor with your power. if they are already deeply wounded, dont hit them again and get out of your power manually instead. if you hit them twice you will lose all of your power, get a 4 second stun AND give them a speedboost due to being hit. by manually stopping the power you wont lose all your power and only get the 4 second stun (there is one benefit to doubletapping them though, which is that you can get emblems that require you to hit them a lot easier)
6) try to get pallet stunned. im not joking, if you injured someone with your power and wish to chase them down, cancel your power underneath a pallet. that way, should they decide to stun you they not only wasted a pallet, but the pallet stun breaks you out of your power a lot faster than the normal 4 second fatigue. you can make yourself even more lethal by equipping enduring (which cuts the pallet stun time in half) and / or spirit fury (which breaks the pallet should you get stunned after breaking some pallets). should they not stun you, you got them outpositioned, which can be bad for them aswell.
