Is P1 / P2 / P3 More Than Just Cosmetic
I've heard roomer that rare items appear more frequently in the blood web the higher you get from P1 to P3
Does anyone know how much truth there is in this? as I cant tell any significant difference between P1 and P3 rare item acquisition from the bloodweb.
To me it just feels like bragging rights to get a full set of P3 gear which for the most part the cosmetics are kind of meh as there are a lot of better looking cosmetic items out there.

While yes, there is a difference, it is minor and most wouldn't notice it. It's entirely possible that if you were to take the cheapest route on P0 and cheapest route on P3 (to get to level 50) that it could be cheaper on P3.

Essentially, each prestige increases your chance of getting rarer nodes in the bloodweb as seen in the table.
(All credit goes to the DBD wiki for the table)

a shame a lot of Very Rare and Ultra Rare add-ons lately have been rather garbo.

I dump points into my P3 Trapper when I'm overflowing, and he already has all perks etc.
Every P3 bloodweb has 1-2 Ultra rares, a bunch of purples and greens. I rarely see browns, while on my normal killers you get a lot more common add ons.
It does make a difference. Plus the cosmetics do have the 'P3 killer' stress it gives to the survivors. (Of course if you lose it's even worse.)

Random question on prestiging. When you prestige you lose all perks, but do you lose all accrued items too? Once you prestige do bloodwebs start over where you can get through them pretty quickly at lower levels or do they continue like higher levels where you need to put 35-40k BP in to move to the next level?

prestiging gets rid of everything: addons, offerings, perks and (if prestiging survivors) items too.
When you prestige its essentially a lvl 1 character again so you start with cheap bloodwebs and get progressively larger like normal

Yes, you lose all items and perks. What I do is level a killer/survivor to 50, play with what I got in those 50 bloodwebs and spend no more points on them. (or just instantly prestige if you got a bad hand) Use the bloodpoints from playing with what you got then when you're empty, prestige.
Some people grinded everything without prestige but I like the extra items.

Thanks! I currently have all survivors and killers at 50 and am contemplating starting to prestige now vs. continuing to unlock perks. I have 1 killer and 1 survivor with all perks unlocked for rift challenges, testing builds, BP farming, etc.
i guess I need to start using some of these offerings before I prestige some of these characters! Thanks for the info, really appreciate it!

Think about it. A P3 Huntress gets an iri hatchet every bloodweb, and an experienced huntress is one that can cross map snipe.
It can quickly become a salt web.

Actually, that table was heavily disproven. Several people did individual studies of their own characters and found that you essentially get 1 extra ultra-rare per 50 levels. Some saw no change, others saw an extra purple or green as well.

it makes a difference indeed thats why is actually worth to prestigie because you get better stuff but i dont know is on you. but is a minor change is not that great as it seems on that wiki sheet.

Yeah i had a conversation with "Senior Wiki Guardian of the Dead by Daylight Wiki" about that, these numbers are the ones they found in the code, but it seems they are multiplicative and not additive.
Btw. here is a Reddit post detailing some stats : https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/at25tj/does_prestige_matter_bloodweb_comparison_over_500/

Well I just hit level 50 - P1 on Nurse and this is the full amount of offerings and addons for those 50 levels:
It doesn't feel like a lot of violet, purple and green items.
Once I've blazed through the more useful items and am ready to max out P2 Nurse I'll screenshot again and see if theres much difference.
