Why are killers still locked during matchmaking?

MMR was turned off. There's no need for that to stay a feature right now.

Is this true? Damn, the most exciting thought after reading that tweet was that I could go back to messing around with my killers while I wait. Being locked sucks.

Back in my day we could switch between survivor and killer without exiting out to the main menu. We wuz a backwater game, ya know. Hillbillies all over the place, and a few good nurses. Hecc.
